Morris Johnson

Morris "Jim" Johnson, age 70 of Mohawk, KY, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Edmonson CountySeptember 9, 1937 to the late Gertie Johnson and the late Rev. Homer Johnson. He was a retired mechanic and lineman for Continental Telephone Co.He is survived by his wife Sherry Higginbotham Johnson of Chalybeate ; one son, Greg Houchin (Bobbie) of Rhoda; three daughters Janis Morriece Alvey (Gene) of Chalybeate, Angelia Faye Johnson of Chalybeate andJeanetta Girard (Harry Jr.) of Mohawk; three sisters, Margie Durbin of Bowling Green, Pattie Van Meter of Brownsville, Dorthene Vincentof Rhoda;four grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson Jackson, Anthony Thomas Houchin, Joshua Girard and Jacob Girard; two greatgrandchildren, Jade Jackson and KinsleyJackson.Services willbe officiated byBro. Vernon Johnson with burial inOak Hill Cemetery.
