Mollie Kersey, age 80 of the Pig Community, passed away Friday, July 30, 2010 in Leitchfield. She was born November 16, 1929 in Edmonson County to the late Delbert and Elburita Constant Sanders and married to the late Henry H. Kersey.
She was a retired meat packer for Southern Star, a member of Nolin United Baptist Church, Wand B. Doyel Ladies Auxillary and the Green River Chapter O.E.S. # 577.
She is survived by four brothers; Dennie Sanders of Anneta, Osa Sanders of Louisville, Easol Sanders (Erma) of Big Clifty and David Sanders (Linda) of Louisville and five sisters, Polly Goins (Charles) of Bee Springs, Rachel Haycraft (Eugene) of Anneta, Nathel Haycraft (Bill) of Anneta, Delores Jones (Richard) of Brownsville and Gail Johnson (Mark) of Mammoth Cave. Fiften nephews and ten nieces. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Ollie Sanders.
Services will be officiated by Bro. Malcolm Doyle with burial in the Hill Grove Cemetery.
