Millard E. Brown, age 72 of Park City, died Sunday, December 20, 2009 in Louisville, KY.
He was born December 16, 1937 in Taylor County to the late Alvis Brown and the late Martha Melton Brown and the husband of Helen Vance Brown.
He was self employed in Heating & Cooling, a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Millard is survived by his wife Helen Vance Brown of Park City; six sons, Steve Brown of Murray, Phillip Brown of Edmonton, Butch Brown, Jason Brown, Marvin Jones and Doyle Jones all of Park City; four daughters, Pam Glover of Big Clifty, Vetta White (Grover) of Park City, Jolene Murphy of Park City and Alice Walker of Cave City; one sister, Mary Anne Brown of Campbellsville; brother-in-law, Jeff Vance of Park City and mother-in-law, Vassie Ruth Wright of Park City. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Donald Ray and Jeffrey Rodney Brown.
Services will be officiated by Bro. Belvy Barbee with graveside military rites at Evergreen Cemetery.
He wanted to be remembered as a honest and hardworking man. A devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother who was cherished and loved.
