Mildred Sturgeon

Mildred Sturgeon, age 89, of Park City, KY, died Thursday, September 17, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Barry Sturgeon and the late Hattie Sturgeon and wife of the late Hobert Sturgeon.

She is survived by two daughters: Bertha Lou Cave, Cave City, KY, Dorothy Parker, Park City, KY; two sons: Samuel Sturgeon (Loretta), Park City, KY, Hollie Sturgeon (Freda), Cave City, KY; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-Grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Patton Funeral Home Park City Chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday, September 18, 2009 and from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday, September 18, 2009. Visitation will continue at new Hope Missionary Baptist Church from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Sunday, September 20. Funeral service will be at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church at 1:00 PM, Sunday, September 20, 2009. Interment will be at New Hope Church Cemetery, Cave City, KY
