1953-2023

Michael A. Sanders, age 69 of Brownsville, departed this life on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 in Glasgow. The Edmonson County native was born on December 11, 1953 to the late Mitch and Nora Page Sanders Massey.

Mike was a welder and a member of the Pipe Fitters Union. He was saved at Pleasant Union United Baptist Church when he was twelve years old.

He leaves to honor his memory— his daughters, Melissa and Michelle Sanders of Kokomo, IN; his sister, Jean Waddle of Chalybeate; nieces, Linda Lindsey (William “Jackie”) and Kim Howard (Jeff); nephew, Eddie Waddle and several great nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Vonnie Pearl Hogan and Lova Belle Sanders.

Interment will be in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery.
