Michael Garner, Sr

Michael E. Garner, Sr., age 55 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2008 in Louisville. He was born September 4, 1952 to the late Cecil Eugene and Fannie Sue Collins Garner. He was owner/operator truck driver,a Vietnam Army veteran,a baptist and a member of Millcreek VFW. He is survived by his wife, Laverne Wilson Garner of Louisville; one daughter, Tina Parker (Scott) of Knoxville, TN; five sons, Michael E. Garner, Jr. (Tina) of Bristol, VA, Robert Garner of Ba;timore, MD; Kirby Harper (Shari) of Park City, Robbie Harper (Lenora) of Plano and Timothy Harper (Janet) of Chalybeate; one sister, Kathy Garner, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Pete Garner. Services will be officiated by Bro. Daymon "Rusty" Watson with graveside service by Nisbet Alexander Memorial Post #6937 VFW at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
