Mary F. Willis

Mary F. Willis, age 88 of Brownsville, departed this life at her residence, with her family by her side on Saturday, February 17, 2024.  The Watertown, TN native was born on January 23, 1936 to the late Rebel Reeves and Olive Lanham.  She was married to her devoted husband and best friend, Dallas Willis, Sr., until they were parted by his passing on December 1, 2015. 

Mary worked as a house-wife, and was a caregiver to her beloved son, Billy, until God called him home.  She was a member of New Home General Baptist Church. Mary dearly loved her family, but left them assurance that she was ready to go see her family, friends and neighbors that were waiting for her.  

She leaves to honor her memory— her children, Dallas Willis, Jr. (Marilyn) of White House, TN, Rickey Willis and LuWanda Brooks (Brad), all of Brownsville; grandchildren, Jeramy Willis (Laura), Brittany Turney (Steven), Chris Holt (Sabrina) and Alyssa Brooks and great-grandchildren, Joe Dallas Willis, Silas Levi Holt, Sadie Ann Turney and Haisley Gray Turney. Besides her parents, husband and son, Billy, she was also preceded in death by her adored grandson, Levi Willis.

Interment will be in New Home Church Cemetery.
