Mary Ashley

Mary Frances  Ashley, 77, of Sweeden, KY, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012 in Brownsville. She was born in Edmonson County October 15, 1934 to the late  Mark McDougle and the late Rosie Lee Thompson Harrison .  She was the wife of  Ray Ashley of Sweeden, KY.

She was a retired case worker for Family Services and a member of  Pleasant Union United Baptist Church.

Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Tim Ashley (Amy)  of Oakwood,  GA; a half sister, Joan Skaggs (Clinton) of Sweeden, KY; two brothers, Roy McDougle (Barbara) and Wayne McDougle (Billie Ann)  of Brownsville, KY;  three grandsons, Jessie Ashley and Luke Ashley both of Oakwood, GA and Daniel Ashley of Sweeden, KY.

Burial will be in the Sweeden Church Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Patton officiating.
