Mary Brooks

Mary Anna Brooks, age 64 of Mammoth Cave, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011 at her residence. She was born June 24, 1946 in Barren County to the late Edwin Paul Owen and Thelma G. Grizzle Owen.

She was a beautician and owned Ann's Beauty Shop and was a member of Hill Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy D. Brooks of Mammoth Cave; one daughter, Marianna White (Jimmy) of Bowling Green, one grandson, Mason White of Bowling Green; one brother, Gene Owen of Glasgow and one niece, Kimberly Landrum (Bobby) of Glasgow. She was also preceded in death by her son, Kelly T. Brooks and her brother, Ellwyn Owen.

Services will be officiated by Br. Danny Wayne Sexton with burial in the Hill Grove Cemetery.
