1931 - 2022

Martha Luttrell Durbin, age 91 of Brownsville departed this life on Monday, November 7, 2022 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green.  The Edmonson County native was born on August 28, 1931 to the late Murlin and Delta Irene Luttrell.  She was married to James E. Durbin, who also preceded her in death.

Martha retired as a quality inspector from General Electric.  She was a member of Rockford View United Baptist Church.

She leaves to honor her memory— her sister, Nell Meredith of Brownsville; nieces and nephew that she loved as her own children,  Machell Martin (Roger) of Brownsville, Theresa Lamar (Don) of Brownsville, Terry Cosby (Steve) of Bowling Green, Larry Brown (Michelle) of Louisville, along with several great nieces and nephews that she adored. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Steve Hogan and two siblings, Carlene Brown and Kelly Luttrell.

Interment will be in St. John the Evangelist Church Cemetery.  Donations can be made to:  St. John Cemetery Fund, c/o Joe Durbin.
