Martha Lashley

Martha Mae Vincent Lashley, age 85 of Sunfish, passed away Sunday December 13, 2009 in Bowling Green.

She was born May 23, 1923 in Edmonson County to the late Corbett and Doris Marie Saling Vincent and married to the late Roy L. Lashley.

She was a housewife and a member of Cedar Grove General Baptist Church.

Martha is survived by two step daughters; Brenda Worthington (William) of Owensboro and Bernice Igleheart (Russell) of Whitesville; two step sons, Don Lashley of Arlington, TX and Roy Lee Lashley of Muncie, IN; one brother, Corbett Vincent, Jr. (Lillian) of Huff; one sister, Nora Vincent of Sunfish; seven step grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Hazel Whalen, Modella Dodson and Nancy Dan; one step son, Shelby Lashley and one step granddaughter, Cindy Igleheart Jackson.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Stanley Whittaker with burial in the South Union Church Cemetery.
