Margie Renfro

Margie Truman Renfro, age 97 of Chalybeate, passed away January 2, 2008 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. She was born February 21, 1910 in Edmonson County to the late Rev. Thomas Monroe and Kizzie Donoho Ray and married to the late Claude Renfro. She was a housewife and a charter member of Beaver Dam Chapel United Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Billie Renfro (Donna) of Bowling Green; four daughters, Lois Hogan (Victor), Joyce Sullivan (Billy), Anna Stewart (Gerald) all of Brownsville and Jonell Martin (Leon) of Chalybeate;11 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; one sister, Liddie Whittle of Chalybeate and one daughter-in-law, Sara Renfro of Chalybeate. She was also preceded in death by one son, Roy Renfro; one daughter, Wanda Lee Haynes and one grandson, Kelly Martin Renfro. Services will be officiated by Bro. Wayne Nolan with burial in the Hawkins Cemetery.
