Mabel Rich

Mabel Skaggs Rich, age 88 of Louisville, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 in Louisville. She was born January 7, 1923 in Edmonson County to the late James and Rose Nell Vincent Skaggs. She was a retired real estate agent for Paul Simmons Realtors and a member of Ollie United Baptist Church and Bright Star O.E.S. #16.

She is survived by her husband, Nathan "Nat" Rich of Louisville; one son, Bruce Rich of Louisville; one sister, Mossie Skaggs Sanders of Louisville, several nieces, nephews and friends. She was also preceded in death by one son, Bobby Harold Rich; three brothers, Rome, Rondle and Ralph Skaggs and one sister, Jean Skaggs Jaggers.

Funeral service will be officiated by Bro. Jerry Patton with burial in the Ollie cemetery.

Eastern Star Service will be 7:00 pm EDT Monday, August 29, 2011 at Keenans Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Hwy Louisville, KY.
