Lucy Browning Ray Jaggers, age 76 of Lindseyville, passed away Tuesday December 8, 2009 in Bowling Green.

She was born June 24, 1933 in Edmonson County to the late Dewey and Pauline Skaggs Browning and married to the late Cleon Jaggers.

Lucy was a retired factory worker for Brown and Williamson Tobacco Co. in Louisville and a member of Midway United Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son; Neal Ray of Shepherdsville; two daughters, Carmella Tarrance (James) of Roundhille and Benita Parker of Louisville; four brothers, Frank Browning (Florence), Doug Browning and Stoy Browning (Beverly) all of Lindseyville and Anthony Browning (Wilma) of Bee Spring; two sisters, Brenda Ray (Clifford) of Brownsville and Delta Ray of Louisville; four stepdaughters, Marquita Orr and Teresa Jessie of Shelbyville, Elaine Ettne of Louisville and Susie Jaggers of Mt. Washington; eleven grandchildren, eight step grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several step great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Huey and one son, Jimmie Ray.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Billy Vincent with burial in the Midway Church Cemetery.
