Lola Lorene Whittle Renfro, age 95 of Brownsville, KY departed this life on Monday, July 16, 2018.  The Edmonson County native was born on May 19, 1923 to the late James Clarence Whittle and Daisy Moody Whittle.  She was married to Cecil E. Renfro, who preceded her in death.

Lorene was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother.  She was a member of Chalybeate Homemakers and  Beaver Dam United Baptist Church.

She leaves to honor her memory three sons, Leland Renfro of Chalybeate, Bro. Eldridge Renfro (Sharon) of Chalybeate and Bro. Ronald Renfro of Brownsville; one daughter, Sandra Stice (David) of Chalybeate; twelve grandchildren, Annette Huggins (Ted), Kathy Renfro, Brad Renfro (Robin), Lesley Spainhoward (Eric), Aimee Carey (Brian), Brandie Lindsey (David), Aaron Renfro (Missy), Blake Renfro, Shaun Stice (Carol), Ryan Stice (Natalie), Jonathan Stice (Elizabeth) and Bretta Stice; eighteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Deborah Jo Stice and Michel Renfro, and one daughter-in-law, Phyllis Renfro.

Interment will be in Beaver Dam Church Cemetery.
