Lloyd Jaggers

Lloyd Jaggers, 91, of Chalybeate passed away at his home on December 16, 2013. The Edmonson County native was born on March 12, 1922 to the late Dilly Young Jaggers and Johnny B. Jaggers. He was married to Hopoma Patton Jaggers, who preceded him in death.

He was a machinist and mechanic for Civil Service at Ft. Knox. He was a WWII Army Veteran; a member of the Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge # 355 F&AM,  and a member of Pleasant Union United Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons, Don Jaggers of Greensburg, KY and Greg Jaggers of Chalybeate, KY; one brother, Bill Jaggers of Sweeden, KY; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Jaggers and one daughter, Carolyn Pruitt.

Burial will be in the Pleasant Union Church Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Patton officiating.  A masonic service will be conducted at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the Pleasant Union United Baptist Church, c/o Jimmie Duvall, 1608 Beaver Dam Chapel Rd., Smiths Grove, KY 42171.
