Lloyd Cook , 91 of Brownsville, KY, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2011 in Bowling Green.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Sopha Madison Cook, his parents, Luther and Hattie Cook, two sisters, Lula Tunks and Gladys Cochran , one nephew, Ben Tunks and one step son, Don Lancaster.
He was a retired Mammoth Cave National Park Ranger and a member and deacon of Rocky Hill Baptist Church. He was an avid UK basketball fan and loved to fish.
Lloyd is survived by one step son, Larry Lancaster (Diana) of Bowling Green, KY; a great nephew, Nick Tunks (Tina) of Brownsville, KY; a great great nephew, Kenny Tunks (Leeann) of Brownsville, KY and their children Warner and Kayla ; a great great niece, Meghan Tunks (fiance Andrew Stidham) . He is also survived by grandchildren, Charlie Lancaster and his children, Lindsay and Steven; Amy Carter (Matt) and their children, Andrew and Emily; Debbie Spear (Bill) and their children, Adam Cook (Elaine) and their children, Evie and Katie and Robbie Smith; Cyndi Hanes (Dave) and their son, Chandler and Robert Lancaster (Sherry) and their children Chris and Jeremy Lancaster, Kenley and grandson, Landon.
Services will be officiated by Bro. don Kidd with burial in the Rocky Hill Cemetery.
