Linda Mae Booker Madison, age 81 of Chalybeate, KY, departed this life on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at her residence. The Edmonson County native was born on June 3, 1941 to the late Luther and Virgie Mae Houchins Booker. She was married to her husband of over sixty years, Quinton Madison, who survives.

Linda worked for several years as a nurse at Wilkes Clinic.  She also was  the owner and floral designer of Edmonson County Flower Shop,  before she retired. She was a member of Chalybeate United Baptist Church.

Besides her husband, Quinton, she leaves to honor her memory— her daughters, Tanya Lynn Ashley of Chalybeate and Charla Ann Madison of Brownsville; grandchildren, Lucas Ashley (Ashleigh), Ethan Ashley (Brittany), Brianna Ashley and Chesney Madison; great-grandchildren, Dalton Childress, Ellie Ashley, Kayleigh Ashley, Maisie Ashley and Marlee Ashley; sister, Freda Basham; brother, Ronnie Booker (Debbie), along with several nieces and nephews.
