Linda Childress

Linda Childress, 59, of Lincoln Communtiy, died Sunday, December 12, 2010 in Bowling Green, KY.  She was born July 18, 1951 in Barren Co. the daughter of the late Alex Guffy and the late Nola Chism Guffy.  She was the wife of Sam Childress , a housewife and a member of Stockholm United Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Sam Childress of Lincoln Community two sons, Dannie Childress and Jason Childress both of Lincoln Community; three sisters, Naomi Fisher (Charles) of Glasgow, KY, Virginia Guffy and Mary Scott both of Cave City, KY; one uncle, Robert Guffy of Tompkinsville, KY, one aunt, Barbara Ann Isenberg of Tompkinsville, KY.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Morris and James Guffy and one sister, Sonda Martin.  Burial will be in the Stockholm Church Cemetery  with Bro. J.C. Ramsey adn Bro. Jerry Patton officiating.
