Lina Dean Hatcher

Lina Dean Hatcher, age 80 of Cave City, departed this life on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Signature Healthcare of Glasgow. The Cumberland County native was born on November 5, 1943, to the late Thelbert and Carmon Owens Sexton. Lina was the devoted wife to Johnnie Hillard Hatcher, who also preceded her in death. 

 Lina worked as a homemaker and lovingly took care of her family. She was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. 

 She leaves to honor her memory—her sons, Johnny Hatcher of Park City and Danny Hatcher (Rita) of Cave City; grandchildren, Kevin Hatcher (Diedra), Michael Hatcher (Amanda), Evelyn Greeno (Ray), Rebecca Kauffman (Johnathan) and Elizabeth Irene Hatcher; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a sister, Nelda Goodman. Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her son, Franklin Hatcher, and siblings, Janie Blevins, Russell Sexton, Louise Hatcher and Leon Sexton. 

 Interment will be in Cave City Cemetery.
