Liddie Whittle

Liddie Ray Whittle, 97, of Chalybeate, KY, died Saturday, Janaury 23, 2010 at her residence.

Liddie was born April 21, 1912 in Edmonson County to the late Thomas Ray and the late Kizziah Donoho Ray and the wife of the late Liman Whittle.

She was a housewife and a member of Beaver Dam Chapel United Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son; Leon Whittle (Merthel) of Brownsville, KY; two daughters: Flora Cooke (Joe) of Chalybeate, KY; Doris Skaggs of Lindseyville, KY; eight grandchildren: Tim Cooke, Marla Cooke, Grant Whittle, Bradley Skaggs, Gregory Whittle, Becky Meredith, Brian Skaggs, Shawn Skaggs; twelve great grandchildren; three great- great grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews.

Services will be officated by Bro. Wayne Tomes and Bro. Wayne Nolan with burial in the Hawkins Cemetery.
