Leon L. Lindsey, age 74 of Sweeden, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2008 in Bowling Green. He was born December 10, 1933 in Edmonson County to the late Velzie and Pearl Lindsey. He was a retired maintenance work at G.E. Appliance Park, a member of Fairview United Baptist Church and enjoyed antique classic cars, fishing and always provided for his family. He is survived by his wife Barbara Lindsey of Sweeden; one son, Leo of Florida; four daughters, Irene Esters (Bobby) of Cave City, Patricia of Brownsville, Peggy of Bowling Green and Betty of Louisville; one brother, Howard Lindsey of Louisville; one sister, Dorothy Mills of Bowling Green; one stepson, Brian Saling of Texas; one stepdaughter, Melissa Britt of Cave City; Twelve grandchildren, four step grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Cleo. Services will be officiated by Bro. Jerry Patton with burial Sweeden Church Cemetery.
