Leon Jaggers

1943-2022

Leon Jaggers, age 78 of  Valley Station, departed this life on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Edmonson County on June 6, 1943 to the late James Franklin and Myrtle Dunn Jaggers. He was married to Barbara Joyce Meredith Jaggers, who preceded him in death.

Leon retired from LG&E and was a member of Cove Hollow United Baptist Church, where he remained a member until his passing.

He leaves to honor his memory— two sons, Timothy Leon Jaggers (Cheryl) and James Keith Jaggers all of Valley Station; sister, Versie Duvall of Tennessee;  granddaughter, Samantha Carpenter, and two great-grandchildren, Londyn and Kam.  Besides his parents and spouse, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Brian Jaggers, four brothers and two sisters.

Interment will be at Cove Hollow Cemetery.
