Lee Elmore

Lee Elmore, age 78 of Wingfield, passed away Friday, November 7, 2008 in Bowling Green. He was born April 19, 1930 in Edmonson County to the late Z.T. and Claris Rebecca Vincent Elmore. He was a retired sheet metal worker for Local 110 sheet metal workers union and a member of Wingfield United Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Lula Mae Poteet Elmore of Wingfield; one son, Bobby Elmore (Virginia Marie) of Shelbyville; three daughters, Pat Hawks (Tonie) of Wingfield, Sheron Harper (Byron) of Smiths Grove and Becky Elmore of Owensboro; one brother, Parker Elmore (Crystal) of Bee Spring; one sister, Flossie Kersey of Louisville; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Services will be officiated by Bro. Ronald Renfro with burial in Wingfield Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Wingfield Church Cemetery C/O Larry Lewis.
