Laverne Alexander

LaVerne Sanders Alexander, age 97 of Brownsville, passed away May 6, 2008 in Brownsville. She was born May 3, 1911 inOllie to the late Joseph L. and Cornelia Estes Sanders and married to the late L. Franklin Alexander. She was a former office manager for Alexander Brothers Appliances and a member of Brownsville Missionary Baptist Church, Green River Eastern Star # 577 O.E.S. and Brownsville Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by her daughter Jeanne A. Patton (Steve) of Brownsville; one grandson, Alexander M. Ulm (Vanessa) of Chalybeate; one granddaughter, Michelle L. Ulm of Louisville; one great granddaughter, Evelyn C. Ulm; two step granddaughters, Dana Lindsey (Jonathan) and Erica Simpson (Barrett); four step great grandchildren, Jacob and Anna Kate Simpson and Hannah and Kaylee Lindsey. Service will be officiated by Bro. Calvin Bond and Bro. Jerry Patton with burial in Brownsville Cemetery.
