Larry Wood

Larry  Oneal  Wood, 81, of Bee Spring, KY passed away  Friday, June 1, 2012 in Bowling Green. The Edmonson county native was born November 30, 1930, the son of the late Alton B.Wood and the late Ethel Napper Wood. He was a  retired Senior Master Sergeant over Personnel Processing for U.S. Air Force and CFO for Brownsville Deposit Bank. He was a Korean and Vietnam War Veteran, member, deacon and sunday school teacher at Bee Spring Missionary Baptist Church .

He is survived by his wife, Grace Vincent Wood of Bee Spring, KY; son,Ronald Bruce Wood (Kimberly) of Pig, KY; daughter, Donna Wood Rich (Tim) of Bee Spring, KY; two sisters, Leola Carroll (Randall) of Bee Spring, KY and Rita Lindsey (Terry) of Bee Spring, KY; one brother, Kenneth Wood, Plymouth, NC; five grandchildren, Ashlee Marie Jaggers (Matthew), Heather Wood House (Nathan), Jonathan Neal Wood (Carla), Brooke Elizabeth Cole (Bradley) and Adam Blake Rich and five great grandchildren, Luke Jaggers, Halleigh House, Kameron House, Emma Jaggers and Lily Cole.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Kay Minton and three brothers, Jimmy, Winston, and W.L. Wood.

Burial will be in the Bee Spring Church Cemetery with military graveside service with Bro. Jerry Patton and Bro. Malcolm Doyle officiating.
