Laneda Brown McKenney, age 76, of Glasgow, departed this life on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.   The Monroe County native was born on September 28, 1943 to the late Ivan Morris Brown and Roxie Key Brown.  She was married to Stanley Wayne McKenney, who also preceded her in death.

Laneda was a former cashier at George J. Ellis Drugs and a homemaker.

She leaves to honor her memory— one son, Ken D. McKenney (Kathryn) of Bowling Green; one sister, Cornetta Hurt; one brother, Rondal Brown; one aunt, Reva N. Brown and one niece, Lisa Houchens (Paul).
