Kenneth Ray McPeak, age 77 of Brownsville, departed this life on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. The Edmonson County native was born on May 4, 1942 to the late Herman R. and Lucille Graves McPeak and was married to the late Virginia Lou Johnson McPeak.

Kenneth was a U.S. Navy veteran and served during the Vietnam era. He retired from Country Oven Bakery, and was a member of Oak Grove United Baptist Church.

He leaves to honor his memory-- one daughter, Melissa Grider (Billy) of Brownsville; one son, Jimmy McPeak (Lori) of Salem, IN; five grandchildren, Jeremy McPeak (Michelle), Amy Hoskison (Josh), Lindsey McPeak, Emily Grider and C.J. Grider; five great-grandchildren, Tyler Hoskison, Tatum Hoskison, Lilly McPeak, Joe McPeak and Liam Lightner; three sisters, Camilla “Millie” Clonan, Helen Hughey and Lavenia “Beanie” Skaggs (Mike). He was also preceded in death by one son, Joe McPeak, and two siblings, Kathleen Hogan and Richard McPeak.

Interment will be in Oak Grove Church Cemetery.
