Keith Marr

Keith Marr, age 52, sadly departed this life on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at his home in Smiths Grove. He was born on July 3, 1972, in Monmouth, Illinois, to the late Jr. Marr, and his loving mother, Kay Davis Marr, who survives. The family eventually moved to Rocky Hill, where Keith cherished many happy memories with his siblings, cousins and dear friends.

Keith was a 1990 graduate of Edmonson County High School, and a member of Liberty Methodist Church. He had a remarkable talent for crafting stunning, impressive cabinetry. His journey in woodworking began alongside his dad, Jr., creating beautiful reproduction furniture. Keith later teamed up with his dear friend, Leonard Lillard at Carroll Cabinet Company, and then developed his own business, Keith’s Custom Cabinets before working with Kight Kitchen and Design Center.

What truly set Keith apart was his warm personality! He had a special way of making everyone feel like a friend and knew how to make the most of life. His infectious smile and positive energy lit up the room and brought joy to all who knew him.

Besides his mother, Kay, he leaves to honor his memory— his daughter, Molly Grace Marr of Louisville; siblings, Teresa King (Charles) of Smiths Grove, Vonda Marr of Chalybeate and Kevin Marr (Melinda) of Rocky Hill; his girlfriend, Martha Martinez of Bowling Green; uncle, Gary Marr (Marlene) of Pig, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends that will forever miss him. He was also preceded in death by his great uncle, Jesse Marr; brother-in-law, Paul Stake and his girlfriend’s special father, Charles Paddie.

The interment will be in Rocky Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to: Rocky Hill Cemetery, c/o Donna Short.
