1952 - 2016

Judy Ann Poteet, age 63, of  Chalybeate, KY, departed this life on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Edmonson County native was born June 8, 1952 to the late Rev. Grover Pierce and Chloie Ray Pierce of Chalybeate, KY, who survives.

She was a barber at Judy’s Barber Shop and was also a member of Chalybeate United Baptist Church and Edmonson County Saddle Club.

She is also survived by one son, Jarred Poteet (Mary Kate) of Oakland, KY; one daughter, Jessica Poteet (Cody Morris) of Chalybeate, KY and two grandsons, Kanyon Poteet and Landon Morris; three honorary sons, Josh Roof, Tyler McCombs and Paul Blanton; two honorary daughters, Beth Hunt and Amber Adkins and one honorary granddaughter, Addison Bratcher.

Interment will be in Kinser Cemetery with Bro. Steve Doyle and Bro. Richard Minton officiating.
