Jr. Marr

Jr. Marr, age 61 of Rocky Hill, passed away Friday, October 24, 2008 in Louisville. He was born December 23, 1946 in Smiths Grove to the late James F. Marr, Sr. and the late Josephine McCombs Johnson. He was a self employeed mechanic and woodworker and "Mayor" of Rocky Hill. He is survived by his wife Kay Marr of Rocky Hill; two sons, Kevin Marr (Jennifer) of Rocky Hill and Keith Marr (Dana) of Plano; two daughters, Teresa King (Charles) of Smiths Grove and Vonda Crews (Paul) of Glasgow; one brother, Gary Marr (Marlene) of Pig; one sister, Shirley Yates (Dave) of Fairdale; step father, Leon Johnson of Smiths Grove; step brother, Jerry Johnson (Pat) of North Carolina; step sister, Judy Johnson (Murrell) of Rocky Hill; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Jawana Marr. Services will be officiated by Bro. Malcolm Doyle with burial in the Rocky Hill Cemetery.
