John Wilson

John L. Wilson, age 88, of Louisville, KY,  passed away Thursday,  April 18, 2013 in Louisville. The Edmonson Co. native was the son of the late Cooper Wilson and Lula Self Wilson.  He was the husband of  Pearl Peterson Wilson of Bayfield, Colorado, who survives him.

He was a graduate of Colorado State University and retired from the Kentucky Health Department.  He was a member of Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge #355 F&AM and a U.S. World War II Veteran serving the military in both the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Steven Wilson (Loraine) of Caribou, Maine and Jeffery Wilson of Cynthianna, KY; one daughter, Luann Wilson of Bayfield, Colorado; one brother, H. Dean Wilson (Wanda) of Louisville, KY; two grandchildren, Tatjana Wilson of Germany and Erik Wilson of Colorado and one great grandson, Landen Wilson.

Masonic service will be at 7:00 pm Saturday at the Brownsville Chapel.  Graveside service will be officiated by Bro. Calvin Bond at Kinser Cemetery.
