John Blair

John Joe Blair, age 71 of Louisville, died Monday, October 12, 2009 in Louisville. He was born August 21, 1938 in Covington, Ky to the late George and Mae Madison Blair and married to the late Connie Ammons Blair. He was a retired from the military, a Vietnam Veteran, Security Guard for Securita's Security Co., and a member Midway United Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by two daughters, Annette Wiley (Bill) and Joy Persson of Louisville; two stepsons, Jay Holt of Louisville and Donnie Ammons of Vine Grove; one brother, George Blair (Betty) of Bowling Green; one sister, Emma Nell Reneer (Joe) of Louisville; two half brothers, Howard Plank (Patricia) of Russellville and John Plank (Lou Ann) of Bowling Green; five grandchildren, Jarrid, Reanna and Melina Persson, Emily and Ryan Adams; three step grandchildren, Rue and Ian Ammons and Cody Holt. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Rosella Blair. Services will be officiated by Bro. Jerry Patton and Bro. Elsie Madison with graveside military rites by Nisbet Alexander Memorial Post #6937 VFW at Midway Church Cemetery.
