Jimmie Childress

Jimmie Edward Childress, age 68 of Rocky Hill, died Saturday October 15, 2011 in Bowling Green. He was born March 1, 1943 in Edmonson County to the late Clell and Myrtle Lindsey Childress.

He was a farmer and a member of Fairview General Baptist Church.

He is survived by four brothers, Leonard Childress (Clara) of Rocky Hill, Wayne Childres (Kathleen) of Rocky Hill, Alton Childres (Joyce) of Sunnyside and Lannie Childress (Janice) of Rocky Hill; three sisters, Edan Jordan of Glasgow, Virgie Brown of California and Leoda Childress of Rocky Hill; several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Lillie Curtis.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Malcolm Doyle with burial in the Rocky Hill cemetery.
