Jessie Marie Hooten, age 63 of Wingfield, died Tuesday April 21, 2009 at her residence. She was a former employee of Western Kentucky University and retired from Firestone in Bowling Green. She was a member of Pleasant Grove (Miller Hill) Missionary Baptist Church.
She was born August 5, 1945 in Monroe County to the late Diver Clarence Creek and the late Florence Mae Dunham Creek.
She is survived by two sons, Jonathan James Hooten (Jean) of Bowling Green and Stacy Dale Hooten of Wingfield; two sisters, Delsie Wix of Franklin and Nellie Wilson of Wingfield; one brother, Elmer Dean Creek (Eddie Mae) of Auburn. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Inez Creek and Elsie Freeman; four brothers, Delmer, James, Donald and Royce Creek.
Funeral service will be officiated by Bro. Bobby Joe Meredith with burial in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
