Jerry Minton

Jerry W. Minton, age 61 of McDaniels, passed away Tuesday September 1, 2009 at his residence. He was born March 9, 1948 in Grayson County to the late Letty and Sally Woosley Minton. He is a retired tree trimmer for Asplundh Tree Service and a member of Kyrock United Baptist Church. He is survived by one son, Charlie Minton of Tuscon, AZ; one daughter, Beth Minton of Washington; one stepdaughter, DeAnn Santos of Seaside, CA; one brother, Thomas Minton of Pacific, MO; two sisters, Irene Myers of McDaniels and Dorothy McKelvey of Danville, Il; two grandchildren and three step grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Zona Woosley and Jane McComas and two brothers, Ruben and Charlie Minton. Services will be officiated by Bro. Jerry Patton with burial in the Poplar Spring Cemetery.
