Jennifer Williams

Jennifer Williams, age 47 of Oakland, was home and surrounded by her loving family when she departed this life on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.  The Barren County native was born on March 26, 1977 to Timmy and Brenda Lawrence, who survive.  She was married to her best friend and caretaker, Mike Williams, who unselfishly tended to her every need.  

Jennifer previously worked in banking, but in most recent years was a housewife.  She was a member of Dover Missionary Baptist Church.  Jennifer had a servant’s heart, loved helping others and volunteering at Warren East Middle School Youth Service Center with her mom.  Her happiest moments were those by Mike’s side, sharing laughs and wonderful memories with their family and friends.

Besides her husband and parents, Mike, Timmy and Brenda, she leaves to honor her memory— her sister, Leslie Cloyd (David) of Smiths Grove; nephews, Keaton and Kayden Cloyd, Austin Marr and Dakota Decker; her in-laws, Billy and Barbara Williams and sister-in-law, Michelle Cline, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wilson and Lois Smith and Manuel and Joyce Lawrence.  

Interment will be in Smiths Grove Cemetery.
