Jeanne Tarantino

Jeanne Simpson Tarantino, 59 of Sweeden, KY passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014 in Bowling Green, KY.  The Edmonson County native was born March 2, 1954, the daughter of the late Everett Simpson and the late Jacqueda Harrison Knight. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by a daughter, Julie Hazelwood and companion Jen Matchell, Smiths Grove, KY; one son, Pete Tarantino, Sweeden, KY; two brothers, Kevin Simpson, Everett "Butch" Simpson of Bee Spring; sister-in-law, Susie Simpson; two nieces, Jessi Simpson,  Tammy Rix; nephew, Charlie Simpson; three grandchildren, Hannah Tarantino, Alex Tarantino, Pete "Buzzy" Tarantino.

She was preceded in death by a brother Charles "Chuck" Simpson and a niece, Tonya Simpson "Cissi".

Burial will be in the Sweeden Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made to Hospice House of Southern Kentucky or St. Jude's Memorial Hospital.
