Jean Ashley

Jean Madison Ashley, 79, of  Lindseyville, KY  passed away Sunday,  August 19, 2012 at her residence.  She was born in Edmonson Co. to the late Dewey Madison and Irene Hill Kinkade Madison and was the wife of the late Granville Gordon Ashley. She was a member of  Poplar Springs United Baptist Church, Green River Order of Eastern Star and a retired seamstress from Brownsville Manufacturing.

She is survived by two brothers, Jimmy Madison (Louise) and Johnny Madison (Sharon) both of Brownsville, KY; one sister, Carlene Helson (Billy) of Louisville, KY and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Granville G. "Don" Ashley, Jr. and a sister, Patricia Bailey.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Jerry Vincent and Bro. Billy Vincent with burial in the Poplar Springs Church Cemetery.
