Janet Emerson

Janet Emerson, age 60 of Park City, departed this life at her residence on Monday, January 20, 2025. The Barren County native was born on July 24, 1964 to the late Donald Emerson and Shirley Emerson, who survives.

Janet retired after dedicating many years to working on the assembly line at Akebono. She was a 1982 graduate of Barren County High School.

Besides her mother and best friend, Shirley, she leaves to honor her memory— her brother, Tim Emerson and his daughter, Britney Emerson, all of Park City. She also leaves a multitude of friends and extended family members who will deeply miss her. 

The service times will be scheduled at a future date.
