James K. "Jimmy" Madison, Sr.
1939 - 2015

James K. “Jimmy” Madison, Sr. departed this life on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Edmonson Health Care Center in Brownsville.  The Edmonson County native was born on September 26, 1939 to the late Dewey & Irene Kinkade Madison. He was married to Louise Madison, who survives.

He was an Air Force Veteran; self-employed cabinet maker and a member of Owensboro United Baptist Church.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Kenny Madison of Bowling Green, KY; one daughter, Paula Madison Hayes (Jeff) of Brownsville, KY; one granddaughter, Lauren Michele Black (Josh) of Portland, TN; one brother, Johnny Madison (Sharon) of Brownsville, KY; one sister, Carlene Helson (Billy) of Louisville, KY; two half brothers, Lanny Madison (Annette) of Bowling Green, KY and Danny Madison (Linda) of Bowling Green, KY; one half sister, Penne Wiseman (Michael Christy) of Bowling Green, KY; two step sisters, Brenda Andrews of Dallas, TX and Nelda Cox of New York and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by one daughter, Geneva Gaye Madison and two sisters, Patricia Bailey and Doris Jean Ashley.

Burial will be in Poplar Springs Church Cemetery with graveside military honors by the Nesbit Alexander Memorial Post# 5937 VFW.
