1956 - 2021

James Edwin Skaggs, Jr., age 64, of Park City, KY, departed this life on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at The University Hospital in Louisville. The Barren County native was born on September 25, 1956 to the late James Edwin Skaggs, Sr. and Delma Turner Skaggs.

James was a farmer and a member of the Baptist Faith.

James is survived by three daughters, Samantha Crabtree (James) of Munfordville, Windy Skaggs of Park City and Sunshine Rigsby (Seth) of Munfordville; three sons, James E. “Cotton” Skaggs III, Charles Skaggs and Tubby Skaggs all of Park City; nine grandchildren; ex-wife, Sametta Johnson of Park City; brother, Donald Ray Myers of Woodlawn, TN; two sisters, Janice Fay Skaggs of Glasgow and Brenda Gail Word (Larry) of Park City; special nephew, Jamie Skaggs of Park City and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis Clayton and Doug Myers.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
