James Thompson

James Ernest "Ernie" Thompson, 62, Pleasureville, KY, died Wed, Dec. 30, 2009 in LaGrange.  He was the son of the late Wm. A. and the late Lella Ashley Colley, he was a Navy Veteran and the owner/operator of Choctaw Jim's Indian Silversmith Store in Campbellsburg.  He was a  member of Kyrock Baptist Church and attended Crossroads Church in Bedford.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Thompson.

He is survived by, companion, Carolyn Brison of Pleasureville; one daughter, Michele Lynn Thompson (Jamie Tingle) of Pleasureville; companions three children, Lori Simms and Beth Ward (Ernie) of Jeffersonville, IN and Christy Crawford (Ronnie) of New Albany, IN; three sisters, Debbie Byrd (Dennis) of Glasgow, KY, Rhonda McCoy (Steve) of Cloverport, KY and Saundra McCrocfklin (Jim) of Louisville, KY; companions three grandchildren and companions six great grandchildren.
