James Prewitt

James Owen "Jimmy" Prewitt, age 53 of Franklin, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010 in Franklin.

He was born December 2, 1956 in Louisville to the late Glendel "Glen" Prewitt and Lucy Vincent Wright of Franklin.

He was a transmission builder for B&B Tire, a member of Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge #355 F&AM and Poplar Spring United Baptist Church.

He is survived by one son, Ronnie Patton (Paula) of Bowling Green; one daughter, Stephanie Wells of Bowling Green; mother, Lucy Vincent Wright (James) of Franklin; one brother, Ritchie Prewitt (April) of Sweeden; one sister, Theresa Wright (Randy) of Franklin; Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces and a host of friends. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny and Barry Prewitt.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Jerry Patton with burial in the Midway Church cemetery. Masonic service will be 7pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
