James Potter

James Edward "Ed" Potter age 83 of Brownsville passed away Sunday October 15, 2006 at his residence. The Edmonson County native was born September 28, 1923 to the late Wesley Andrew Potter and Ella Mae Cowles Potter and married to Chloie Watt Potter. He was a retired freight pusher at Belknap of Louisville and a member of Pleasant Grove (Miller Hill) Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Chloie Watt Potter of Brownsville, three sons: James Potter (Beverly) of Brownsville, Terry Jaggers (Karen) of Bowling Green and Mark Jaggers of Brownsville, three brothers: Tom Potter (Marie) of Brownsville, Ralph Potter (Irene) of Wingfield and Bill Potter of Wingfield, three sisters: Brenda Elmore of Bowling Green, Margie Branenstool (Willie) of Louisville and Chloie Wysloskie of Louisville, fourteen grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a son Larry Jaggers and three sisters Zelma Holder, Louis Wilson and Wilodean Massey. Funeral service will be at Pine Grove United Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Bro. Steve Doyle and Bro. George Maulden will be conducting.
