James Beckner, Sr

James Cloyd Beckner, Sr., age 70, of Park City, KY, died Thursday, April 30, 2009, at Medical Center at Bowling Green in Bowling Green, KY. He was retired from the US Air Force.

He was born October 31, 1938 in Edmonson County, the son of the late Marvin Beckner and the late Hazel Houchins Beckner.

He is survived by one daughter: Monica Beckner, Park City, KY; four sons: CPT (Ret) James Beckner, Jr., Waynesville, NC, COL Timothy Beckner, Washington DC, Thomas Beckner, LaCrosse, WI, Dillon Beckner, Park City, KY; two brothers: Albert Beckner, Rocky Hill, KY, Doug Beckner, Park City, KY; four grandchildren; companion: Angie Vincent, Park City, KY, two step children and five step grandchildren. Services will be officiated by Larry Bouland with burial in the St. Johns Cemetery.
