Jack Jones

Jack E. Jones, age 78 of Park City, passed away Friday, December, 5, 2008 at his residence. He was born March 8, 1930 in Newton, Iowa to the late John A. and Laura P. Barron Jones. He was a Korean War Army Veteran, a retired Maytag repairman, life member of the DAV 23rd regiment of the 2nd infantry and attended Caveland Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Mary S. Jones of Park City, one son, Paul A. Jones (Derenda) of Park City, one daughter, Jacklyn S. Jones of Pleasant Hill, IA, two grandchildren, Angela Dawn Jones of Park City and Christopher Michael Jones (Leslie) of Park City; two great grandchildren, Chryston and Karissa Jones of Park City; one brother, Barron V. Jones of Newton, IA and one sister, Harlene Ettelson of Newton, IA. He was also preceded in death by one son, Everette Michael Jones, one brother, Alford Z. Jones and one sister, Jerry Brown. Burial will be in Campground Cemetery with graveside military rites by Barren County DAV.
