Iva Lindsey

Iva Mae Lindsey, 91, of Huff, KY, died Monday, February 28, 2011 in Huff, KY. She was born May 16, 1919 in Edmonson Co., KY. to the late Louis Lindsey and the late Annie Gross Lindsey. She was the wife of the late Iland W. Lindsey. She was a homemaker and a member of Sunny Point General Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Ravin E. Lindsey (Mae) of Brownsville, KY and Aldon D. Lindsey (Lidia) of Martinez, GA; seven daughters, Rosie Lee Huff (Lhebanon) of Roundhill, KY, Elva Jean Johnson (Ernie) of Huff, KY, Ollie Hazel Miller of Brownsville, KY, Allene Miller (Carlos) of Huff, KY, Judy Ann Logsdon (Kenny) of Cub Run, KY, Sunday Lindsey of Dry Ridge, KY, Gloria Dean Simpson (Don) of Huff, KY; a brother, Cordie Lindsey (Lavenia) of Louisville, KY; four half brothers, George Herman Linsdey (Susan) of Leitchfield, KY, Eugene Lindsey (Linda), Willie Lindsey (Brenda) and Charlie Lindsey (Pearly) all of Bee Spring, KY; three half sisters, Cuba Fraim (Audrey) and Dorothy Clinton (George) of Louisville, KY and Reva Ann Harp of Leitchfield, KY; 23 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchidlren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Thomas Logsdon, brothers, Walter, Little Albert, John William and Little Willis and sisters, Zora Mae Johnson, Nola Lindsey, Eula Lee Lindsey and Rowena Lindsey. Burial will be in the Sunny Point Church Cemetery.
