Irene Phillips Smith, age 83, of Park City departed this life on Monday, November 14, 2022 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. The Lena, Illinois native was born on July 29, 1939 to the late Earl and Luella Schultz Phillips. She was married for sixty-six years to Leonard Clifton Smith, who survives.

Irene was a housewife and a member of Park City Baptist Church.

Besides her husband, she leaves to honor her memory— son, Jeff Smith (Debbie) of Smiths Grove; daughters, Betty Smith and Peggy Carey of Park City, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sister, Nancy Boop (Charlie) of Pearl City, IL. She was also preceded in  death by a her brothers, Gary, Donald and Lowell Phillips and sister, Ardith Stabenow.

Memorial contributions can be made to: American Diabetes Foundation or Multiple Myeloma Foundation.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Park City, KY.
