1939 - 2021

Imogene Frogge Minton, age 81 of Penns Chapel, was surrounded by her loving family when she peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at her residence.  The Edmonson County native was born on July 5, 1939 to the late Herman and Una Logsdon Frogge.  She was married on March 24, 1956 to her husband and best friend, Donald Minton, who survives.

Imogene retired from Fruit of the Loom as a seamstress and invoice clerk.  She was saved as a young girl at Wingfield United Baptist Church, where she remained  a faithful member for sixty-nine years.

Besides her husband, she leaves to honor her memory— four children, Donald Wayne Minton (Sherri) of Evansville, IN, Freda Lewis (Larry) of Wingfield, Anita Myers (Robert) of Scottsville and Carolyn Green of Bowling Green; four grandchildren, Joy Jolly (Benton), Kim Wrye (Scott), Justin Green and Scott Minton; five great-grandchildren, Maddie Cline (fiancé Caleb), Macy Wrye, Emma Kate Jolly, Braxton Green and Kellen J. Green and one sister, Betty Eades (Elmer). She was also preceded in death by two grandsons, Adam and Greg Minton; two brothers, Donald and Jerry Frogge and her sisters, Brenda Sheldon and Dorothy Wells.
